Similar to the deep V-hull found in our incredible new Ultra 250X, the Ultra LX is 250mm longer and 50mm wider than our current runabouts, combining responsive turning performance with confidence-inspiring stability and superb rough-water ride characteristics.

Adjustable Handlebars

The 5-way adjustable handlebars suit a wide range of riders and riding styles from beginners to pros. This, combined with the relatively narrow seat makes the Ultra LX very comfortable for either stand-up or seated riding.

Sponsons

Newly developed sponsons minimise porpoising to provide stable straight-line performance while helping to retain the machine’s narrow overall design. They also contribute significantly to the Ultra LX’s responsive handling when changing direction, particularly at higher speeds.

Quattro KSD

Kawasaki Splash Deflectors (KSD) deflect water splashing forward from under the hull. Whether turning or blasting straight ahead, at high speeds or low, the Quattro KSD minimises spray for enhanced ride comfort.

160 PS 4-Stroke Engine

Kicking out an impressive 160 PS at 7,500 rpm, the liquid-cooled, 1,498 cc In-line 4-cylinder engine delivers the responsive performance that sports riders love while still meeting stringent CARB ultra-low emissions regulations.

LCD Instrumentation

Includes speedometer, tachometer, hour meter, clock, trip distance, trip time and fuel level. Warning lights alert you to low oil, low fuel, high engine temperatures or injection troubles with computer hook-up for easy data retrieval.

Large Capacity Storage

The large-capacity, fully sealed 200-litre storage area has plenty of room for recreational equipment. A detachable storage compartment is also fitted. Mounted on the centre console is a detachable drink holder with space for two drink bottles.

Extended Cruising Range

Offering more fuel capacity than any machine in its class, the Ultra LX boasts a massive 78-litre fuel tank to enable you to take on long distance adventures with confidence and ease.

Beginner Friendly

The ULTRA LX features Kawasaki’s innovative electronic Smart Learning Operation (SLO) system which can be programmed to speed-limit the engine to assist novice riders in mastering their riding technique without worrying about excessive speeds.

Smart Steering

Designed to assist inexperienced riders, the Kawasaki Smart Steering system is electronically linked to an on-board microprocessor and automatically adjusts engine speed and thrust while cornering to ensure a smooth, controlled turn.
